Grey Swan Inn Bed & Breakfast, Blackstone, Virginia
The Grey Swan Inn B & B was built in 1902 by prominent Blackstonian Douglas Longstreet Tuggle of R. W. Tuggle & Son Tobacco Company of Blackstone, Virginia for his bride, Sue Armstrong, and was the Tuggle family home for eighty-five years. It is now home for us and our guests.
Our B & B has a large wrap-around porch with swing and rockers for relaxation and is enjoyed throughout the spring, summer and fall by our guests. The main floor offers two parlors for guest use; one with TV, while the other has a fireplace (great during the winter months) and is ideal for visiting and reading. The dining room may be used by guests that wish to bring in lunch or snacks. There are four bedrooms on the second floor: two with one full bed each, two with one queen bed each. The third floor offers a king-bedded suite and private sitting area with TV.
You may stay at inns more expensive and more elegant, but you will never be more welcome, or feel more at home.
