Welcome to the Briar Rose Inn. We would like to introduce you to our home, a lovely restoration of a 19th century Country Victorian located in the heart of Silicon Valley. Here you will find all the comfort and charm of a bygone-era coupled tastefully with the present world.
Built in 1875 by Cornelius J. Harrison, the house and grounds were once the heart of a thriving walnut plantation. It is now a welcomed member of a quiet residential neighborhood, two miles north of downtown San Jose. The remaining grounds of the Briar Rose Inn (almost one-half of an acre) are fantastically populated by lawns, roses, impatiens, angel trumpet, cyclamen, cineraria, and a wide variety of seasonal flowers. Once inside, you will find yourself surrounded by antiques, Bradbury & Bradbury period wallpapers and bathrooms with clawfoot tubs.
