Fiunary Cottage is a traditional stone built crofter's cottage overlooking the Sound of Mull and dating from around 1860. The owners have restored the cottage themselves and many old features survive including interior stone walls, and although the cottage itself is small the accommodation offered is comfortable and its outlook outstanding.

The surrounding area is rich in history: infamous Glencoe, and Glenfinnan where bonny Prince Charlie raised his standard are not far away, and there are more recent reminders of the area's history in the clearance houses scattered around. Anyone interested in history will find the area of interest.

The owners have a 32ft sailing yacht which is available for charter, weather and circumstances permitting.

Although its remoteness and spectacular scenery are the main attractions for visitors, making walking, bird/otter watching and sailing a delight, there are other attractions and its ferry connections with the Inner and Outer Hebrides make the area an unforgettable holiday destination.
