Four Mile Creek Bed and Breakfast, once the headquarters of the Four Mile Ranch, is located in a quiet valley near Glenwood Springs, Colorado. Originally homesteaded in 1885, the Four Mile Ranch is listed in the National Registry of Historic Sites. Four Mile Creek runs year round near the main house and log cabin. The grounds offer pleasant strolls and relaxing sitting areas. The spring fed pond is home to several rainbow trout who thoroughly enjoy being fed by visitors. As you approach Four Mile Creek Bed and Breakfast, a large red barn built in 1919 will capture your attention, and you soon will discover Aspen groves, herb and flower gardens and wildlife.

Jim and Sharill Hawkins and son Clay are very sincere in their desire to create a pleasant and interesting environment for visitors to Four Mile Creek Bed and Breakfast. Jim is a retired Denver Firefighter and Sharill is one of two partners in Show of Hands, a gallery of fine American crafts, located in Denver. A Bernese Mountain Dog named Oso (bear in Spanish), a Golden Lab named Max, Sopie (a clueless and clawless kitty), and several llamas round out your hosts.
