Horseback riding is the main attraction at our farm which is located in the Appalachian Mountains of south central Pennsylvania. Experience true peace and quiet in the country where you can still sit on the porch and listen to whippoorwills sing at night or watch hummingbirds feed all day. Each season is special and offers different views of flora and fauna. Accommodations are in a large, 4 bedroom, 1 ½ bathroom farmhouse filled with western memorabilia and antiques. Meals are prepared from home grown vegetables, homemade desserts and locally raised meats. We can also accommodate special dietary requests with advanced notice. In addition to trail rides you can enjoy swimming, hiking, horseshoes, shuffleboard, volleyball, and a hot tub. Prices include meals, riding, and lodging.
On the farm we also have peacocks, chickens, dogs and cats. Children of all ages like to gather fresh eggs for breakfast. In the spring time we usually have a few new born foals to watch.
We are about 120 miles west of the Baltimore/Washington area and about 120 miles east of Pittsuburgh. Horseback riding is all guided, all walking. Persons of extra large size may not be able to be adequately accommodated, please understand.
