Green Oaks is the oldest remaining beach front residence in Mississippi. Originally built on a Spanish land grant, the home stands on two acres with two historic buildings. Today both the home and the original servants' quarters are listed in the National Historic Register, providing a total of 8 guest rooms.
Green Oaks has been restored to its original splendor and is furnished with an impressive collection of period antiques. The home retains all of its original moldings, mantels, hardware, and fixtures. Due to is design and the location of the barrier islands in the front of the home, it has withstood many powerful storms and is one of the few ante-bellum structures still remaining on the Gulf Coast.
