This imposing English Arts & Crafts mansion was built in 1910 by a prominent Milwaukee businessman. The interior features massive oak staircase, beamed ceilings and antique lighting. The dining room has a rare stained glass tile fireplace with a carved oak surround and oak paneling. The beautiful parlor fireplace is marble and oak, and the arts and crafts style library fireplace is brick and oak. There is also a tiny little solarium perfect for afternoon tea. The home is decorated in rich dark colors and holds many Victorian antiques. The lower level is a 75 seat performing arts theater and along with the first floor is available for meetings and private parties. Tours are available by appointment.
Guests are invited to relax with wine and snacks in the evening and enjoy a generous breakfast in the dining room or a fireside breakfast for two in the parlor. We will try to the best of our ability to accommodate your personal needs and tastes.
