Nestled on five wooded acres off the main highway, Winding Brook is a secluded rustic retreat filled with all the warmth and comfort of home. One of the oldest of its kind (circa 1940), Winding Brook is the oldest existing ski lodge in Stowe.
Solidly built of hewn logs and fieldstone, the recently renovated lodge offers spacious fireplaced living rooms, a convivial taproom, access to walking and cross-country ski trails, a steamy outdoor hot tub alongside a flowing mountain stream, a swimming pool and much more. Fifteen individually decorated guest rooms are adorned with antiques and each has its own bathroom. A scrumptious homestyle breakfast is served every morning. In addition, Winding Brook is an ideal spot for weddings, dinners, private parties, family reunions and corporate retreats.
