Twelve-foot high ceilings and stenciled hardwood floors in the front hallway greet guests as they enter the restored Federal-style brick home located in the historic district of the sleepy little town of Marietta, a Susquehanna River town that time has forgotten. The Noble House owners, Paul and Elissa, have created a true "home away from home" with their warm personalities, exquisite Victorian decor and personal pampering. The Noble's dog, Fred, adds to the charm with his friendly "bark of arrival."
The living room and dining room feature an array of fine antiques, including family heirlooms, tapestries, and a stunning display of Elissa's large tea cup collection. A full, individually-tailored, candlit breakfast is served every morning.
Fresh flowers welcome guests into the Grand Room with a king bed, gas log fireplace, refrigerator and spacious private bath with a tub and shower.
The Gold Room Suite features a brass four-poster queen bed, and private bath. The adjoining sitting room invites guests to enjoy beautiful tropical plants, goldfish, a garden library and a gas-log fireplace.
Outside guests will find lovely gardens including a fishpond, waterfall, a fabulous array of flowers, ferns, roses and statues scattered throughout creating a quiet and peaceful oasis.
