Weber Addams built this distinctive residence in 1882 across the creek from his parents' homestead and mill. Today his home, surrounded by twenty-one acres of secluded woods, meadow and creek, preserves the rural setting that nurtured and inspired Weber and his siter, Jane Addams, Nobel Peace Prize winner and social work pioneer.
