Originally a church (ca 1846), The Stone House sits on a bluff overlooking the Mississippi River. The house has magnificent exposed hand-hewn ceiling beams, deep window seats and is beautifully furnished with decor from foreign lands. The scenic view in a quiet and quaint setting is a sure method of relaxation.











The Bedouin Room: Large and bright; iron sleigh-style queen-size bed; sitting area with a panoramic view. $90 (Third person in room an additional $20)











Decor of interest: An intricately embroidered dress and an embellished veil of a Bedouin, the nomads of the Sahara Desert.











The North African Room: Decorated with a rich African motif; garden view, queen-size bed $75
