Nestled in the rolling hills of West Marin, 30 miles north of the San Francisco’s Golden Gate Bridge, this farmhouse-style bed and breakfast offers a step into the historic past.
Built in 1919, the charming house is surrounded by hundreds of miles of hiking, biking and horseback trails in the Point Reyes National Seashore.
Beautiful ocean beaches to walk on, estuary waters to kayak on, trails to bike on, redwood forests to visit, and bird sanctuaries to see all at your doorstep.
The house is situated half a mile from the Point Reyes National Seashore Visitors Center and just a short walk away from local restaurants.
An English Oak Bed & Breakfast is located at the corner of Bear Valley Road and Shoreline Highway (Hwy. 1) 2 miles south of Point Reyes Station in the town of Olema.
ENGLISH ROSE ROOM East and south-facing room with queen-sized bed. Decorated in comfortable Old English country style. Hand embroidery and chintz abound.
SCOTTISH HEATHER ROOM Cozy garden facing room with queen-sized bed with feather mattress. Tartan touches evoke a Highland image.
WELSH POPPY ROOM Spacious south and west-facing room overlooking creek. Queen-sized bed. Handmade quilt and décor brings the feel of a Welsh hillside cottage.
Rooms are available en-suite with claw-foot tub and/or shower.
Light oak and fir flooring throughout. Use of tea and coffee making facilities at all times in the lounge by the wood fireplace. A healthy, hearty breakfast served in a farmhouse dining room.
