The Griffin House is an INTENTIONALLY INFORMAL country inn in the rural, historic village of Elk. Located on the spectacularly scenic Mendocino Coast, the inn boasts 8 quaint cottages: 4 with unobstructed ocean views and 4 in a peaceful garden setting. All eight cottages have woodburning stoves and private baths; all prices include a full, hearty breakfast for two delivered to the cottage door each day. Bridget Dolan's Pub and Dinner House (a traditional Irish pub serving Harp and Guinness on tap and the wonderful wines of the Anderson Valley) serves dinner most nights and will deliver dinner to the rooms upon request. No phones, no TV's: lots of friendly locals with great stories to tell.
