The Gate House Inn is the finest turn of the century Victorian in the Gold Country. It is on the National Register of Historic Places and was beautifully maintained by three generations of Chichizolas. All rooms are tastefully decorated in period furnishing that make the inn both elegant and comfortable. The 1 acre parcel is located in a peaceful country setting yet is within walking distance to historic Jackson. The grounds and gardens are beautifully maintained and can be viewed from the large expansive porches or the large windows in each room. A large swimming pool adds to the summer comfort of the inn as does the cool afternoon refreshments. In the winter set by the fireplace in the parlor or selected rooms and sense the history that has taken place in this historic mansion. There is a separate cottage with a double jacuzzi for those romantic get-a-ways Three diamond and three star rated.
