The Lord Mayor’s Bed & Breakfast Inn is truly a place where you can step back in time. The heavy oak front door has a distinctive klunk and it closes out the sounds of a busy life. Our Inn is lovingly cared for and retains the flavor of its first family—the first mayor Long Beach. This historic landmark is an oasis in the downtown area—with walking distance to the Convention Center, entertainment and restaurants. Nearby freeways allow easy access to major attractions.
Beautiful Golden Oak woodwork throughout the house creates a stately atmosphere. Superior restoration compliment the antiques used in the bedrooms and cottages. Each is individually furnished and have private baths. The Eastlake Room has a family heirloom fainting couch. Handcarved Austrian twin beds decorate Margarita’s Room. Our most photographed room, Hawaiian Room, showcases a unique clawfoot tub. Beppe’s room has a four poster bed plus Dutch wardrobe. The Fireplace room showcases a wonderful feather bed plus the ambiance of the city’s mayor. “Your warm and welcome hospitality makes this a real Bed & Breakfast.”
