The Blue Spruce Inn welcomes you with the distinct Pacific breeze that freshens the Central Coast hillsides golden with poppies, tempers the heat of the summer sun and warms the sands during afternoon strolls on winter beaches. The Inn is four miles south of Santa Cruz and one mile from Capitola Beach at the northern curve of the Monterey Bay.

Uncompomising personal service is the hallmark of this 1875 bed and breakfast inn, where beds are graced with Amish quilts and walls hung with original local are to blend the flavor of yesteryear with the luxury of today. There are quiet gardens, to enjoy the sunshine of Soquel Village; delightful antique shops at the corner and a little farther wineries, famous for excellent Santa Cruz Mountain wines, attractive gift shops and regional art displays.

Beyond the neighborhood lies the entire Monterey Bay--great hiking in the Forest of Nisene Marks, Sanata Cruz beaches, the boardwalk and Fisherman's wharf. The redwood groves are to the north; Carmel and Big Sur to the south.

Energy for these activites comes from a bountiful breakfast of fresh fruits, handmade breads and exceptional entrees served with steaming cups of coffee or tea. Visitors come from all over the area to enjoy fine dining that is just steps from the Blue Spruce Inn.
