With its location hidden amid five acres of beautiful wooded land, Thurston House is a perfect escape from the pressures of the day. There are several garden areas complete with benches to hide in, as well as several walking paths to enjoy. Thurston House offers four guest rooms, all with queen-sized bed, private bath, desk with phone, and a cozy reading area. There are also guest common areas - a front parlour to relax in, a back parlour to watch television and work on a puzzle, and a wonderful wraparound porch with rocking chairs and swing that overlook Lake Eulalia. This circa 1885 Queen Anne Victorian home has the charm of beautifully restored woodwork, and is decorated in period style using antiques and reproductions. Guests can relax in their rooms, visit with other guest on the wraparound porch, play a rousing game of croquet or just rock peacefully in the hammock on the sleeping porch - something for everyone!
