Our restored Victorian home, Rose Hill, was one of the original estates in Versailles, Kentucky, and is part of the Rose Hill Historic District. Rumored to have been used as a hospital during the Civil War and a campground for both North and South, the home and grounds are steeped in history. We are on 3 acres, with a park-like setting, just a block of downtown, and minutes from the Blue Grass Airport, Lexington, and Frankfort. The Inn has a large formal parlor, a relaxing library, and a cozy sitting room. Your full breakfast will include fruit, juices, and an innkeeper-created entree such as banana filled french toast or cheesy egg puff. In the afternoon you can relax or read by the fire in the library or the parlor, or sit in the swing under the grape arbor out on the patio munching on tea and cookies, when you're not out enjoying the Kentucky bluegrass horse farms and antique shopping.
