The Brampton Bed & Breakfast is one of the finest inns on Maryland's Eastern Shore. Built in 1860 as a plantation house, Brampton retains nearly all of its original details. They include the magnificent three-and-a-half story walnut central staircase, walnut windows and doors, Georgia pine floors and plaster ceiling medallions. The 35 acres of grounds that surround Brampton with century old trees and boxwood plantings provide a quiet pastoral setting for a peaceful escape.





















Brampton has ten luxurious and romantic rooms with private baths. All rooms are spacious and well appointed with beautiful yet comfortable furnishings. Most rooms have a wood burning fireplace ready to be lit during cold winter days. The manor house features a formal guest parlor, a family room with a TV and games for your enjoyment. Join us each day in the dining room for a complimentary full breakfast and afternoon tea complete with fresh brewed coffee, tea, homemade baked goods and jams.





















The area's gently rolling landscape, dotted with historic sites and wildlife refuges, provides interesting touring by automobile or bicycle.
