Located in the heart of Easton's Historic District, this in-town Victorian provides both romantic ambiance and a convenient location for exploring in and around Talbot County and Maryland's Eastern Shore. Victorian era ambiance with 21st Century comfort.





The Bishop's House is furnished in period style with 18th and 19th century antiques of oak, walnut, and mahogany. Two of the three first floor common rooms have gas log fireplaces, all three common rooms feature 14 foot ceilings, plaster crown molding and ceiling medallions, faux finished working fireplaces, central air conditioning and a growing assortment of collectibles. High Speed Wireless Connection is available throughout the house.



Second floor guest rooms feature 12 foot ceilings, Working Fireplaces, Ceiling Fans and King Size Beds. Third floor guest rooms feature 10 foot ceilings, Ceiling Fans and Queen Size beds. Four guests rooms feature heated whirlpool tubs. All guest rooms are equipped with showers.





Accommodations include a Doeskin Guest Robe, Cable TV/DVD Player, CD Player, Clock Radio, 1000 thread count linens, phone jack for modem hook-up, steam iron & ironing board, hair dryer, Down Comforter, (in season), and individually controlled air conditioning in guest rooms An outgoing fax machine, laptop computer and Cable TV/VCR is available in the small drawing room, on site private off-street parking, secured overnight storage for bicycles, cycling tour maps of Talbot County, bicycles available for guests use, three spacious first floor rooms, Courtyard with Fish Pond & Fountain and wrap around porch with porch swing and rockers for relaxation and socializing and our full hot sumptuous breakfast, (served family style at 9 AM). A third floor sitting room is available to guests complete with Cable TV/VCR & DVD Player, microwave oven, refrigerator, coffee maker, ice maker, wine cooler, coffee and a selection of teas, hot chocolate, sodas and snacks. A two night minimum stay is required for all guest rooms with a three night minimum stay required on certain holiday weekends. Overnight guests will be accommodated but payment for a two night stay is required, (three night stay for certain holiday weekends).





Before starting on a day of exploration and adventure begin with a sumptuous hot breakfast served at 9 am in the sunny dining room.

The Courtyard & Fish Pond with Fountain and the wrap around porch with porch swing and rockers offers a perfect setting for relaxing in the late afternoon and evening hours.
