Penobscot Bay Inn, a AAA Three-Diamond inn on Maine's beautiful mid-coast, has five traditional rooms in the B&B-style shingled Cottage and 14 modern rooms in the two-level post & beam Field House, where every guestroom has its own entrance from the deck. Many rooms have a view across Penobscot Bay to Blue Hill and all 19 have private baths, air conditioning, cable TV and phones. Hearty breakfasts, featuring fresh fruit, meat and eggs, stuffed French toast and daily specials are served on the breezy veranda, outside on the deck or in the sunny breakfast room. Large parties can enjoy breakfast together in the private dining room.



The inn is situated on a hillside on the edge of downtown Belfast, a picturesque town with beautifully preserved sea captains' homes, art galleries, boutiques and restaurants. Special local activities include walking tours of Belfast's historic homes and gardens and cruises on Penobscot Bay. Festivals, art shows and other special events are held numerous times throughout the year in the town's lovely waterfront parks.
