Woolverton Inn, Stockton, New Jersey
"One of the loveliest settings in the Delaware Valley...romantic and secluded." Frommer's Travel Guides Far from the madding crowd, The Woolverton Inn sits majestically on ten acres of century old apple and maple trees, surrounded by hundreds of acres of preserved forest and farmland. Built in the late 1700's, the inn was first the stately residence of the Prall family, then the Woolvertons. Now fully renovated and meticulously decorated, the inn has a warm, comfortable ambiance, a tradition of hospitality, and a romantic atmosphere.
We invite you to restore your spirit in a Jacuzzi, partake of breakfast in bed, sip wine by the fireplace in your room or while away the hours in a rocking chair on the front porch. The more adventurous will want to discover the beauty of the surrounding countryside by walking along the Delaware River, biking along back country roads, or driving through scenic farmland with a stop at a local winery or rustic cafe. Whatever your interests, we are delighted to offer suggestions, make reservations, or provide you with local maps and guides so you can seek your own adventure. Centrally located only ninety minutes from New York City or Philadelphia, The Woolverton Inn is also an ideal location for weddings, small business meetings and seminars. We believe you will find The Inn a most special place for your event.
