La Tienda Inn, Santa Fe, New Mexico
La Tienda Inn is a quiet, romantic adobe compound just four blocks from the Santa Fe Plaza. The award-winning restoration of a 1900-era Territorial-style house and an adobe building which began as a small neighborhood market (or "La Tienda") provides private baths, private entrances, and private telephones. Rooms are furnished with antiques and furniture crafted locally. We have also completed renovation of an adobe farmhouse which is over 100 years old, just down the street, preserving details such as lintels, deep windowsills, and kiva fireplaces.
