In a peaceful wooded valley, The White Oak Inn sparkles in the sunlight. The Inn was crafted entirely from Red and White Oak timbers milled on the property, and most of the original woodwork is intact today. The Crise family built their home with generous proportions in 1915 to entertain family and friends. That spirit of hospitality carries on today.

The Inn has been updated with all private bathrooms, air-conditioning and other modern comforts, but still retains its original charm. It is set on 14 wooded acres, providing a peaceful haven away from traffic and noise. Gliders and rockers on the 50 foot long porch offer a comfortable place to read, sip lemonade and watch the hummingbirds and butterflies.

The former chicken coop has been reincarnated as a guest house with three secluded romantic rooms featuring fireplaces and beamed ceilings.

Two luxury log-cabin cottages with whirlpool tubs, king size beds and fireplaces are perfect for honeymoons, anniversaries or just getting away from it all.

A hearty breakfast is served each morning, and gourmet dinners made with fresh herbs from the Inn's gardens are available in the evenings. Romantic dinner baskets for two can be enjoyed in the rooms or on the grounds.

Throughout the year the innkeepers offer special events and packages, including Murder Mysteries, Nature weekends, and Wine and Cheese tastings.

	Winter 2008 special package - 2 night stay including dinner both evenings and breakfast both mornings for $345 a couple.
