“The last unspoiled Resort”. The tiny 1800's Victorian town of Eagles Mere sits on a 2100 ft. mountain top, 400 paces from a crystal clear lake. This town of 133 residents is surrounded by many thousands of acres of forest. Nearby are numerous hiking trails, fishing creeks, incredible waterfalls and sunset vistas.









In Spring, banks of Mountain Laurel, Azaleas and Rhododendron spring to life and you can walk around the Lake on Laurel path under these towering bowers. Summer offers the Beach & Boating Club, Antique Shows, Jazz groups and other entertainment. Fall offers spectacular displays of Fall color in the Mountains. Winter brings Cross country skiing, ice skating and the Famous "Toboggan Slide".









The Inn was built in 1887 and restored in 2002. Guests of the Inn enjoy warm hospitality, gourmet meals, excellent wine and ultimate relaxation. The Inn has been inspected and recommended by quite a number of Travel Writers for Magazines, Newspapers and Guidebooks.
