Our inn is nestled on 15 acres of rolling foothills of the Green Mountains, surrounded by gardens, tall maples and lush lawns. Since the early 1800’s, it has been a stagecoach stop, a stop on the Underground Railway for runaway slaves, and the romantic setting for many cotillions and weddings. We’re just 7 minutes from the lively and picturesque village of Woodstock which is chocked full of shops and diversions. But here on the property, the feeling is very rural.



Our large antique quilt collection contains pieces as old as the inn, many made by the innkeeper’s grandmothers and great-grandmothers. A lively heirloom linen collection graces many guest rooms.



Our Contemporary American cuisine is tied for top honors in all Vermont. Our wine list has won an Award of Excellence six years in a row. Travel writers have voted our inn among the nation’s Top Ten. And we’ve been featured in Country Living, Country Home, Yankee and Gourmet.



Our rates start at $120 per night for two including a full country breakfast. Substantial discounts are available all Spring and many midweek periods. Service charge of 15% and Vermont state tax are additional. A deposit of the full first night’s charges is requested.

	2 Night Holiday package includes two nights' lodging, breakfast each morning, dinner one night, glass of champagne at the bar, all taxes and gratuities, discounted admission to the Woodstock Health & Fitness Center, complimentary Vermont X-mas Tree or Wreath.
