Chewuch Inn, Winthrop, Washington

The Chewuch Inn and its Craftsman style cabins are surrounded by five million acres of public lands, including the North Cascades National Park, Okanogan National forests, Chelan Sawtooth & Pasayten Wilderness and the spectacular North Cascades Nat.Park. The Methow Valley is a narrow grassland of ranches, orchards and hayfields. At the top of the valley is the famous "old west" town of Winthrop with its delightful shops and restaurants. The Inn sits on four acres just across the river from Winthrop. The rooms in the Inn all reflect our Northwest lifestyle and three common areas to relax and play include; the game room with pool table and darts, a comfortable sitting room with TV/VCR and video library, and finally the "Rendezvous" room, where our fresh baked apricot scones along with many other breakfast goodies are served in front of a River rock fireplace. Picnic tables and a large outdoor spa lend pleasant views of the valley and surrounding mountains from the patio. Our craftsman style cabins sit in a pine grove with private wooded views. In the warm months a creek rambles through the property and when the snow falls a groomed cross country trail does. Studio style some with a fold out couch & some w/a fireplace, nicely furnished and a kitchenette, TV/VCR & barbecues on the back deck. Cabins have full use of the Inn's common areas as well as the option of joining us for our buffet breakfast each morning.
