Galveston Island bed & breakfast as comfortable and romantic.

In its third century on Galveston Island, this 1887 Queen Anne Victorian with gingerbread trim, double verandah, and turret tower, surrounds every guest with warmth and friendliness. Spectacular winding staircase of teak, walnut, and curly pine, highlighted by stained glass windows and cobalt blue transoms. Heirloom antiques and accessories are displayed throughout the house in a warm and inviting atmosphere. The home, by Alfred Muller a renowned architect from Germany, was designed for the cashier of a steamship and railroad company. The second owner was a coppersmith from Ireland, hence the name Coppersmith Inn.









It has five bedrooms, three in the main house, Victoria's Room, Jasmines's Garden Room, Heather's Rose Room and two outbuildings, Clara's Country Cottage and a suite the Carriage House, all with private baths. Victoria's room has a private veranda that over looks the front garden. The Carriage House has a private porch that looks over the back garden and hot tub. A full country breakfast is served family style in the dining room each morning. The Inn has beautiful front, side, and back gardens, with patios and decks intermingled.
