Lochnaiar Inn Bed & Breakfast, Racine, Wisconsin

Racine Bed and Breakfast/Special Event property situated on the shores of Lake Michigan

One of the grandest homes in Racine’s historical district, the Lochnaiar Inn (from the Gaelic “on the water”) is majestically situated high atop a bluff overlooking Lake Michigan. With its unparalleled panoramic view of the lake and adjacent parks, you will soon forget where you are and relax in a grand experience.

Our restored English Tudor inn under its “architecturally unique” copper-clad shingled roof boasts eight spacious guest rooms. Each of our rooms or suites displays its own personality, and is uniquely decorated and furnished for the visitor looking for that extra degree of comfort and pampering while away from home. Boasting canopied four-poster beds, private baths with luxuriously deep empress tubs and pedestal sinks, gleaming wood floors and fresh-cut flowers are standard fare, while several rooms include cozy fireplaces and Jacuzzi. For the business traveler we also have fax machine and wireless internet.

Lochnaiar Inn is situated just a short walk from downtown Racine and the thriving marina area, where you’ll find a variety of recreational activities and ethnic festivals year-round.

Whether you are looking for that quiet refuge from the world, a comfortable window seat to curl up and read your favorite book, or a wide variety of recreational opportunities, The Lochnaiar Inn experience is a treat you won’t soon forget.
