Although each building - whether a Federal whaling captain's home, a Victorian banker's mansion, or a cozy Cape Cod cottage - is individually furnished in period antiques, thorough renovations offer modern comforts and conveniences such as queen and king beds, gas fireplaces, oversize whirlpool baths, twin-line telephones and Bose stereos. Many guestrooms, some with decks or balconies, surround a cascading pool, a sparkling spa and an expansive terraced sundeck. Throughout our three seasons, The Brass Key presents a private and exclusive retreat from the bustle of Provincetown. In the Spring, flowering tulips, forsythia, azalea and rhododendron greet guests. From Memorial Day through September, the action shifts to the sun: while many guests enjoy the seashore beaches, others relax and socialize in the enclosed courtyard. In the Fall, as crisp nights complement the warm days of Indian summer,a blazing fire in the hearth accords the perfect backdrop to savor a bottle of wine and ward off the outside chill. The property's heart-of-town location 1/2 block from the harbor affords guests the opportunity to walk everywhere; restaurants, nightclubs, shops, and other waterfront attractions are just beyond our gate.
