Bridgetown Mill House, Langhorne, Pennsylvania
The Bridgetown Mill House is a federal style fieldstone colonial built in 1791 by William and Mary Jenks. The Jenks were a prominent Quaker family tracing their ancestry back to England and settling in America in the late 17th century. The Jenks operated the Grist Mill that is located on the property and had a significant influence in the agricultural and political development of Bucks County. Three stately 200-year-old sycamore trees graciously line the north side of this grand house. Our full breakfast is served in the large colonial brick floored kitchen with cheery window area, beamed ceiling and walk-in-fireplace. The beds are dressed with luxury linens and each guest room is provided with Egyptian cotton bath linens.
