This historic, landmark home is a classic Queen Anne Victorian built by a lumber baron for his daughter. Her husband was a Civil War veteran and survivor of the famous First Minnesota charge at the battle at Gettysburg.
The home is elegantly decorated to reflect the Victorian era. A spacious hall, showcase parlor, and book-filled library with a wood burning fireplace are open to our guests. A full breakfast is served in the formal dining room.
An open staircase leads to the four guest rooms on the second floor, the fifth is in the Carriage House, just behind the Inn. Rooms are air conditioned and each has its own private bath, whirlpool and a fireplace. All are furnished with antiques and fine art.
