Built prior to the Civil War, this restored Victorian farmhouse is secluded on more than two picturesque acres just over the NY/NJ Border in New York’s Pochuck Valley. The spacious front veranda is filled with comfortable wicker furnishings, inviting guests to relax and enjoy the country setting. Guest rooms are decorated with a romantic flair. Three rooms include canopied beds. Deluxe cottage suites include a whirlpool tub for two and a fireplace. Seasonal, farm-fresh fruits start off the breakfast service, which might include an entrée such as Texas-style French toast or buttermilk pancakes accompanied by bacon or sausage.
