The Sheppard Mansion Bed and Breakfast is a time warp to the early 1900s. This 12,000 square foot mansion has just completed an extensive restoration and is now open to share its grandeur with the public. In addition to the formal parlors, dining rooms and den downstairs, we offer nine guest rooms on two floors each as sumptuously decorated as the next. Original rugs, antiques, textiles and portraiture adorn this magnificent building, rich in the history of the Sheppard family and Hanover's past. Built in 1913 by Mr. and Mrs. H.D. Sheppard, founder of the Hanover Shoe, this building remains largely as it would have been at the time of its construction. We invite you to lose yourself in an era gone by as we pamper you with gourmet breakfasts and afternoon tea.
