The Shipwright Inn is an early Victorian "Anne of Green Gables" style home built by shipbuilder James Douse. This award winning heritage breakfast inn is located in olde Charlottetown within a short walk of historic, cultural, waterfront, dining and shopping facilities. The nautical theme has been reinforced with artifacts related to the inn's shipbuilding heritage. The Shipwright Inn offers guest rooms and apartment units all having polished pine floors, some having been converted from ship's planking by the home's builder. All rooms feature Victorian memorabilia, family heirlooms and antiques.





Island hospitality and attention to detail are integral to the ambiance offered.
