Pickering and is listed on the National Historic Register. Each room is decorated in period antiques and invites its' visitors to be transported back to a time when pleasures were simple and life was lived at a slower pace. Located just two blocks west of the Johnson County Courthouse, you can enjoy an early evening stroll through the square before you return to sit down to the complimentary supper that is provided to our guests. Afterward, we invite you to relax in the Majors' Library with its' history books and chess board, or curl up in the Parlor in front of the cherry fireplace for some quiet time. The Baby Grand piano in the Music Room is always available for playing. Breakfast is served in the formal Dining Room with its' Royal Oak dining table.
