Rosemont is a graciously restored Victorian built in 1880 as a gentleman's farmhouse. It retains almost all of the original interior and the restoration includes a graceful curved staircase, claw foot tubs, a re-opened original firepalce in the Dickinson and a sleeping porch incorporated into the very romantic St. Clair. Antique furniture and furnishings complete the authenticity of the house including vintage linens, crystal, silver and china.
A very private Honeymooner Haven has been designed into the old servants quarters. It has a separate entrance, a quite view of the garden, 4-poster curtained bed, 2-person Jacuzzi, comfortable upholstered chairs and table large enough for in-room breakfast service.
The comfortably furnished front porch and garden welcome guests to sit and pass a quite time. And, the fully appointed Parlor is just for guests and includes a lending library of books plus video and audio tapes to use on the house-supplied cassette players and in-room VCRs.
Five individually designed Guest Rooms & Private Baths have every necessity and luxury we could think of including: Phones with data port & answering machine, TV/VCR/Cable, complete coffee & tea service, bath robe, iron & ironing board, alarm clock, hair dryer, magnifying mirror, candles & other small pleasures.
