Knollwood Manor was built over a hundred years ago by a local resident as a summer home. When this Qeen Ann Victorian was constructed, the hillside setting provided an unobstructed view of Lake Michigan and Betsie Bay. As the town and the trees grew, the view became seasonal but still offers a picturesque panorama of the quaint lakeside village of Frankfort.

Each of the four unique guest rooms is furnished with antiques and includes queen size beds, private baths, ceiling fans, individually controlled thermostats, and radio alarm clocks. Early morning coffee, cold refreshments and a full cookie jar are featured in the second floor sitting room. On the main floor you will find the comfortable guest parlor and dining room where sumptuous breakfasts are served with china, crystal, candles and soft music.

A two bedroom, fully-equipped Carriage House is also available by the week in the summer and for shorter stays in the winter.

Relax in the swing on the front porch or walk the two short blocks to intersting shops or to a beautiful beach to watch the sunset. Whether it is a romantic getaway or a well deserved vacation, you will leave Knollwood Manor longing to return again soon.
