Situated in Brecon Beacon National Park. Quiet village location,set in 30 acres with walks out onto mountains. Lakes and rivers for fishing.Rock climbing & absailing with outdoor pusuits centre,plus many other reasons for visiting Penrhadw Farm - especially the highly acclaimed breakfast choice. Morlais Castle 18 hole Golf Course wihin sight of Penrhadw Farm where we have associate membership with selective green fees for our guests. A HELICOPTER LANDING AREA is also situated at the farm. Many wild birds nest in the area,in particular Peregrine Falcons and a pair of Red Kites. Our sister hotel 4 miles South of Penrhadw also has a highly acclaimed restaurant,serving a variety of local dishes plus many by our resident Filippino Chef. Kathleen,now running Penrhadw also produces many pastries for the restaurant,one of which has become quite famous.Her WIMBERRY TART (i.e.pie)is sought after from as far afield as London! It is well worth a visit just to sample the tart.(wimberries only grow in Wales).
