Heather's Glen, a Bed and Breakfast and More, is a grand old two-story mansion built around the turn of the century. Today this renovated structure stands as proud as the old estate, with verandas and porches reminiscent of another time. Appointed with a careful blend of antiques and decorated from the Victorian era, it accommodates the discriminating tastes of experienced travelers.


The home has twelve foot ceilings throughout and original heart of pine flooring that gleams with pride as it supports two staircases.


The interior has been restored to an authentic period look without sacrificing modern convenience. The furnishings also reflect the grace and elegance of the past visibly with lace curtains at antique glassed windows.


The unique lodging has eight guest rooms from which to choose, each with its own telephone and private bath. The option of an adjoining sunroom that sleeps two is offered. Five rooms boast the luxury of double jacuzzis. All beds have expensive feather down ticks and feather beds...what a delight to sleep in!


A wheelchair ramp makes the downstairs accessible to the handicapped. Smoking is limited to the verandah and porches. Heather's Glen is not suitable for younger children. Pets are not allowed. Weekday rates Sunday through Thursday, except holidays.


Directions: I-45 North Exit 105, East across railroad tracks. Take left at 2nd street and you will be facing Heather's Glen.
