La Rivolte is a magnificent 19th century mansion set in the foothills of the Alpes Maritimes on the outskirts of Grasse. It stands in idyllic terraced Mediterranean gardens with a jade green swimming pool, sea views, olive groves, palms and fruit trees. There are 8 bedrooms, all with sea views, except for the Herb Cottage, an annex in the garden with a small private garden area. There are 2 salons, one with TV, VCR and piano, the other a library. The large well-equipped kitchen/dining room is available for use by guests to prepare lunch or dinner. The large terrace and all rooms of the house overlook the Bay of Cannes. Grasse is known as the perfume capital of the world and you can visit the perfume museum as well as the well-known perfumeries. Cannes, Nice, Antibes and St. Tropez are all nearby.
