Camden Harbour Inn, Camden, Maine
Camden Maine Bed and Breakfast near Camden Snow Bowl
Camden, called the "Jewel of the Maine Coast", sits between the sea and mountains, a village so picturesque that Guide Michelin rates the view from nearby Mt. Battie four stars. The Inn, built as a summer hotel in 1874, is now a designated Camden Historic Landmark.
Perched on a hill, just a five-minute walk to the village, mountains and open waters of Penobscot Bay. Guests approach a canopied entraceway to a wraparound porch and a front desk with a turn-of-the-century station clock mounted overhead. To the left a comfortable Victorian parlour; to the right the Inn's restaurant, fireplaced tavern, cocktail patio and outside dining porch.
Completely renovated with convenience and guest safety in mind, the Inn offers spacious accommodations in its 22 guestrooms, each unique with Victorian colors, period antiques and traditional pieces. Choose from rooms with fireplaces, decks, patios or balconies - almost all with water views.
Camden, centrally located along Maine's midcoast, makes an ideal base for touring - no need to pack and repack. Acadia National Park, LL Bean and ferry excursions to nearby islands are all within 1/2 - 1 1/2 hour drives.
