Captain Grant's is a National Registered Historic Inn. It housed soldiers of the American Revolution and hid slaves during the Civil War. Once cut in half and dilapidated it now stands prominent in the Village.

As you enter, the 71/2 foot wide staircase lays ahead with a mural depicting the village in 1825. It's massive beams have been exposed and wide board floors lovingly polished. A chess board is set up in the library.Other games are in the home made pie safe. Comfortable, livable, antique furniture completes the picture. A three story deck was added to enjoy that complimentary glass of wine or early morning cup of coffee. All common areas are for the exclusive use of our guests.

Upon arriving, you will be given a map of the area and told of attraction and restaurants discounts. We hope to make your stay as enjoyable as the sites you see.

From Nov.1, 2000 to April.1, 2001. Midweek discounts for multiple night and multiple room stays.
