For over 25 years the Dalton House has been serving up a unique recipe for relaxation. Start with a classic New England Inn where towering maple and oak trees frame landscaped lawns, perennial gardens and stone walkways lead to a secluded gazebo and quiet sitting places. Add 11 individually decorated rooms with a mix of shaker and period furnishings. Fold in a relaxed and informal breakfast in the sunny breakfast room and garnish with activities like reading the paper on the deck, lounging in the hammock for two, cozying up to the fire in winter, or enjoying a dip in the pool.
