Serenity's Edge is an elegant place of quiet relaxation amidst the Blue Ridge Mountains of Virginia. We specialize in Elopement and Getaway packages. Located between Bedford and Roanoke, it is easily accessible, being only 3 1/2 miles from Route 460, a major four-lane highway. With 51 acres on top of Taylor's Mountain, there are plenty of places to find solitude and tranquility. All the buildings are blue and white, giving a tranquil feeling of unity - yet each place expresses its own uniqueness. Guests can choose to stay at the "Tiara House", or at one of the romantic cottages. The "Soliloquy's Way" cottage even has its own hot tub! Amenities for the guests' pleasure include a large gazebo (a great place for weddings) with a wicker dining and sitting area; a beautiful solarium filled with tropical plants, a massive fireplace, hot tub, sauna, exercise equipment, and wicker furnishings including a day bed; the "Quiet Place," a one-room day cottage for contemplative moments; numerous decks; walking paths, gardens. Wedding/honeymoon packages and massages are also available.
