The Castle Gate House with its separate private entrance at Wardner's Castle is a Western Shingle Style Victorian situated on an acre of South Hill only five blocks from the heart of Bellingham's historic Fairhaven District, just minutes from Downtown Bellingham and is centrally located between all major transportation centers.



"The Castle", built in 1889, by world class architect, Kirtland Cutter, for local millionaire, 'Big Jim' Wardner of Wardner Idaho, was home to the infamous Black Cat Factory and offers a uniquely charming and spacious Victorian guest house that is memorable for it's 10 foot tall Renaissance Revival bed acquired from the Henry Ford Museum.
