Gunnison House is located in the heart of Girard, Pennsylvania, a charming historical town incorporated in 1846. Girard is situated in the northwestern corner of Pennsylvania.

This spacious home has four cozy guestrooms: Bear Creek, Elk Creek, Crooked Creek, and Walnut Creek. Each room is named after a nearby creek. Guests may spend evenings in the quiet of their room, visit with other guests in the parlor near the fireplace, or enjoy the outdoor hot tub. The house also offers a restful enclosed porch and private picturesque yard.

The Gunnison House dates back to the Civil War era. George H. Cutler, a local attorney and State Senator, built the house circa 1860. In the early 1900's, this house was owned by the Eben Gunnison family, whose ancestors rank among the prominent pioneer families of this section of Pennsylvania.

Experience the charm of Girard and its historical sites, museums, antique and gift shops; visit the covered bridges in the area; or take the walking tour of Girard's historic area to admire the many pre-1900 homes.
