A warm Berkshires welcome awaits you at this beautifully furnished 1845 mill cottage in a country setting at the foot of Beartown Mountain overlooking the Housatonic River, and yet just five minutes from Norman Rockwell's famous Stockbridge Main Street. Afternoon tea or a cool
drink are offered to our guests upon arrival. Gourmet breakfasts are served while you view our acre of lawn and garden framed by 90 foot pines and maples. Birdwatchers will delight in the cardinals, goldfinches, nuthatches and juncos that come to the feeder. The Berkshire Hills is a place of great natural beauty with over 200 years of history in its charming New England villages. There are concerts and plays, museums and dance performances, antique hunting and galleries, boutiques and fine restaurants. There is hiking and biking, river and lake canoeing, tennis and golf - all centered around Stockbridge. And there is nothing that compares to our foliage colors in October.
Our accomdations consist of the Suite which occupies the entire 2nd floor, has a bedroom with Queen bed, sitting room-library and bath with large European-style shower. Also, a spacious bedroom on the ground floor with Queen bed and four generations of family portraits.
