The Kik Williams Bed and Breakfast is located within a ten minute walk of the green at Brown University. We are less than two blocks from the trolley which can take you to Downtown and the Kennedy Plaza area, (convention center, mall).
The Greek Revival house was built in 1844 by Samuel Gerald,centered in the Providence historic district. There are six working fire places which provide for a very cozy atmosphere along with the English decor. Ms. Williams has a degree in Art History and was the owner of an antique store in Bucks County PA. before moving to Providence more than ten years ago. Her house reflects her many interests. She will be glad to help you plan day trips to Boston, Newport, the Rhode Island beaches and the Foxwoods Casino in nearby CT. There are many resturants, movie theaters and shopping in walking distance.
Limited parking off street parking, please inquire. Breakfast includes freshly squeezed orange juice and hot or cold entrees. Three dogs and a cat shrare the house with Ms. Williams. At this time credit cards are not accepted but checks and cash will gladly do. Some long term accomodations are available without breakfast. Some rooms have fire places and private baths.
