Just minutes to the Chesapeake Bay by boat, Harborton House is located in the heart of a quaint bayside fishing village on Pungoteague Creek. The tiny town of Harborton is a joy to experience as well; completely residential, it reminds guests of days gone by and is a pleasure unto itself. A public boat launching facility and fishing dock make Harborton a perfect home base for bayside fisherman. Harborton's central location on the Eastern Shore of Virginia makes it a sensible choice for accessibility to all the area's attractions. In addition, we are very close to the Eastern Shore Yacht and Country Club, Eastern Shore Community College, Accomack County Airport, Shore Memorial Hospital, Eastern Shore's Own Arts Center and the towns of Onancock, Wachaprague and Exmore.
At Harborton House, guests will experience the ambiance of the old structure while enjoying the convenience of modern renovations to the interior of the home as a result of a recent four-year project. It is lovingly decorated with antiques, reproductions and family heirlooms to provide luxurious, yet casual comfort for our guests.
